Be not afraid!

The theme of Respect Life Sunday this year is “Be not afraid!”

What causes you fear? Be not afraid of anything that your fellow Christian can alleviate. If we all take the Corporal Works of Mercy to heart:

To feed the hungry;
To give drink to the thirsty;
To clothe the naked;
To harbour the harbourless;
To visit the sick;
To ransom the captive;
To bury the dead.

Nobody should have to fear much of anything. The unborn should be safe among Christians. The disabled should always be well loved in the household of God. The hungry and the homeless should not suffer indignity when believers find them. The elderly and the dying should find in a child of God someone who will be their advocate.

God bless us all.
