Faces shining
like the sun

Clothes becoming

God and man
in conversation

Bright clouds
casting shadows

Voices from heaven

Fear and joy

Lord it is good
that we are here

Jesus touching them
and saying...

Rise and
do not be afraid

Eventually we all have to come down from the mountain.

I will be back in a week and a half from summer vacation.

Thank you, Fr. Sina, for being a faithful curate of souls. Thank you, Fr. Alphonse, for your kind and gentle assistance. Thank you for keeping the Church full and the confession lines long even during the summer months. Thank you for supporting St. John through Faith Direct or through directly sending your envelopes even when you are out of town.

The next academic and fiscal year is going to be exciting. Thank God for all the good He will do which He will permit to benefit us. Thank God for all the good He is going to do for others in which He is going to permit us to participate.

Lord, it truly is good that we are here.
