INQUIRY CLASSES: STUDY OF THE CATHOLIC FAITH

SUNDAY, JULY 1ST, 8TH, AND 15TH
Are you interested in becoming Catholic or would you, a friend or family member like to learn more about the Faith? The Inquiry Class will be taught by Seminarian Charles Wilton on Sunday afternoons 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., July 1, 8 & 15 in the Adult Education Room.

This summer’s Inquiry Class will use the book Catholicism and Fundamentalism by Karl Keating, available on Formed.org for free (https://bit.ly/2ymqgiH) with your parish membership. For more information and to register please email [email protected].

STABAT MATER FUNDRAISER

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, JULY 14TH AND 15TH
The youth of Stabat Mater will conduct a fundraising event to help with the expenses of their Summer Camp, which will take place the following week in Winchester. They will be asking for donations after the Sunday Masses. Please be generous and help with the formation of Hispanic Youth.

SJB YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY: BOOK DISCUSSION

WEDNESDAY, JULY 11TH
Open to those 18 - 30 years of age. The evening starts with 7:00 p.m. Holy Hour in the church followed by drinks, snacks, and group discussion on the book "God Is Not Nice" by Ulrich Lehner in the Teacher's Lounge. First Friday Devotions

First Friday Devotions begin after the 9:00 AM Mass on First Friday with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Please come spend an hour in the presence of Our Eucharistic Lord. A sign-up sheet is in the vestibule to assure adorers are present every hour.

First Saturday Devotions

First Saturday, the 8:15 AM Mass will be followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Devotions, and Benediction. Come and pray for peace and Respect for Life through Our Lady of Fatima.

First Sunday Vespers

St. John the Beloved celebrates Solemn Vespers in Church on the first Sunday of each month at 4:00 p.m. Solemn Vespers takes place in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament enthroned on the altar, includes a homily after the reading and concludes with Benediction. Come join in the official Evening Prayer of the Church.

During the seasons of Advent and Lent, Sunday Vespers will be prayed every Sunday of the season.

St. Joseph Society

Father Pollard leads a group of dads who gather on the second Friday of every month to pray the rosary, down a drink, eat some pizza and then listen to a short presentation on a topic of mutual interest.
