Rehearsals are Thursdays from 7:30 - 10:00 p.m. Extraordinary music reading skills and singing ability required. Please contact the music office if intersted in auditioning.Saint John the Beloved Volunteer Choir: a choir (SATB) that is presently forming and will be singing at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays. A weekly rehearsal time has not yet been arranged. Basic music reading skills and singing ability required. Please contact the music office if interested in auditioning. Saint John the Beloved Treble Choir: a choir of young voices between the ages of 8 and 14 who sing for the 9:00 a.m. school Mass on Thursdays and occasional 9:00 a.m. Masses on Sunday. Rehearsals are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 - 8:15 a.m. Regular attendance, puctuality, and a desire to be part of a team is required. Please contact the music office if interested in having your child enroll. Saint John the Beloved Gregorian Chant Scholas: choirs of all men or all women specializing in the performance of Gregorian chant who will be singing for First Friday Masses. Please contact the music office if interested in auditioning. Instrumentalist Program: A roster is kept by the Master of Music of those who enjoy playing an instrument for Mass and for various parish events. Please contact the music office if interested in auditioning. Music Department Volunteer Program: A roster is kept by the Master of Music of those who enjoy helping with the administrative needs of the music department. Please contact the music office if interested in helping. Concert Series: A roster of various programs including organ concerts, vocal recitals, and sacred music workshops are presented annually to parishioners and residents of the local community.
