Reminiscing about the Last Days of Summer...

Our Bible Study on the Acts of Apostles was great fun. Your participation was impressive. Next summer we plan to focus on the Life and Letters of St. Paul. The summer after that perhaps we should study the Catholic Epistles and the Writings of St. John.

We were fortunate to hear talks by current and former Christendom professors John Cuddeback and Jonathan Reyes.

The Knights of Columbus made available to us some spectacular BBQ at a discount.

August 15 might not have been a Holy Day of Obligation this year but it would have been hard to tell given how many people came to Mass and enjoyed themselves at the Assumption Picnic.

My favorite accomplishment of the last several months is our Door-to-Door Evangelization campaign. It has been a huge success. Almost one thousand homes have been visited. Many thanks to Dave Scully and everyone who put feet on the ground, especially the members of our Legion of Mary. Special thanks to Ned Ryun and American Majority who provided free software support.

Looking forward to the First Days of School(s)...

Gearing up for some new things...

Wednesday evening High School Prayer Groups will move Wednesday Confessions and Holy Hour a little earlier as of September 9. Be sure to check the schedule.

Corpus Christi in 2016 promises to be even more glorious. Be on the lookout for opportunities to help.

Oh, and the Pope is coming to town in a few weeks but not before our Fall Festival!

God bless you!
